The Farmhouse

Osdale Farmhouse has a slightly smaller footprint than the Byre but makes up for this with its cosy charm and warm atmosphere. Downstairs you will find a snug kitchen and living room with wood-burning stove. Upstairs, a striking mezzanine landing links the two bedrooms. Fans of cosy and traditional houses will love it here.
Both of our cottages have some great things in common: calming isolation, flexible sleeping arrangements for up to four adults, large boot-rooms, room for pets and an amazing location with wonderful views.

Osdale Byre has the larger reception rooms of the two properties, with a generous open plan kitchen and living room space taking up much of the downstairs. It also features expansive views of the surrounding fields through its floor-to-ceiling front windows, as well as an ensuite bathroom in one of the bedrooms.

Our Location

The cottages are located on the Isle of Skye’s North West peninsula, called Duirinish. The wilderness of the Macleod’s Tables provides a majestic backdrop for the cottages and offers great walks from the front door. Despite the sense of isolation, the Osdale cottages are only 3 miles from Dunvegan with local shops and good places to eat. Access to Skye’s famous attractions – Neist Point, Coral Beach, and Dunvegan Castle are all nearby as are some of Skye’s best restaurants including The Three Chimneys, Edinbane Lodge and Loch Bay.
