The Farmhouse

Osdale Farmhouse sits beneath the Macleod’s Tables that dominate the skyline of North West Skye. There are expansive views out to the Cuillin ridge, which can be admired from the main rooms.

A stay at Osdale Farmhouse affords true isolation, the only neighbour being Osdale Byre at the other end of the same generous plot. Otherwise, the cottage sits on its own amongst the stunning landscape, making it a remarkable spot to enjoy the Highlands.

The Byre

Osdale Byre nestles beneath the Macleod’s Tables and offers commanding views out to the Cuillin mountain range. It is reached via a farm track with livestock from the neighbouring farm often grazing along the way.

With Osdale Farmhouse being your only neighbour, a stay at Osdale Byre offers isolation and tranquillity. A remarkable spot to recharge your batteries that you’ll want to return to again and again.

Our Location

The cottages are located on the Isle of Skye’s North West peninsula, called Duirinish. The wilderness of the Macleod’s Tables provides a majestic backdrop for the cottages and offers great walks from the front door. Despite the sense of isolation, the Osdale cottages are only 3 miles from Dunvegan with local shops and good places to eat. Access to Skye’s famous attractions – Neist Point, Coral Beach, and Dunvegan Castle are all nearby as are some of Skye’s best restaurants including The Three Chimneys, Edinbane Lodge and Loch Bay.
